Muslim Group Supports Student’s Right to Service Dog « Engage Minnesota

Assalamu alaikum, I found this in my “incoming links” section of my blog stats page.
I’m glad to see that CAIR is continuing to address this issue, though I’ll have to read the article they linked to about the student/dog guide user who felt threatened? by some of the Muslim students? This would be truly sad and unfurtunate if it was the case.
As I’ve said before, as a Muslim dog guide user this issue of Muslims and dog guide users is one I feel very strongly about. Inshallah, there is a way that religious concerns can be respected while at the same time accommodating the section of the blind/visually impaired community who choose to travel with the assistance of a dog guide.
